Civic service is an important part of our firm. Our attorneys give back to our community through diverse types of volunteer roles, including:
- Coaching and judging mock trial competitions to help train the next generation of lawyers
- Volunteering through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation
- Advocating on behalf of low-income Atlantans through pro bono programs
- Acting as race director of the Annual Kids’ Chance 5K Road Race
- Volunteering for the Georgia Kids’ Chance Foundation council
- Serving on boards, including GreenLaw, the Buckhead YMCA, Central Outreach and Advocacy Center, the North Fulton Senior Services, nonprofit educational foundations, and neighborhood associations
- Participating in Georgia Legal Food Frenzy
- Remaining active and leading in their faith communities and local community groups
- Leading foreign mission trips
- Volunteering for fine arts programs, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Shakespeare Tavern, the Fox Theater and the Aurora Theater
- Teaching and leading Boy Scouts and youth groups
- Coaching youth sports teams
- Helping animals at the Homeless Pets Foundation and Mostly Mutts organizations
- Volunteering for The Salvation Army on Advisory Boards, supporting the annual Red Kettle Campaign and other fundraising
