Chris’ practice focuses on representing clients in complex insurance coverage disputes and bad-faith actions. Chris joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch, & Medlin in 2023, working as an associate out of the Dunwoody office. Prior to joining the firm, Chris spent six years representing injured Plaintiffs in a variety of cases. Chris also spent two years defending long-term care facilities and hospitals against negligence claims. During that time, Chris developed an interest in and gained experience with insurance coverage disputes and bad-faith litigation in various contexts, including personal automobile wrecks, homeowners’ insurance claims, and general commercial liability claims.
Chris graduated from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he was on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice. Prior to law school, Chris obtained his undergraduate degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia. Chris is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and was recently selected for the State Bar’s 2024 Young Lawyers Division’s Leadership Academy.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Jennefer, hiking, and remains a committed chess player. He also serves on the Board of his HOA.
