Matthew Spencer joined Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin in 2024 as an associate in the firm’s civil litigation group. His practice focuses on civil litigation, premises liability, and insurance defense. 

Matthew graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2021. He graduated from Georgia State College of Law in 2024. During law school, he worked with the Health Law Partnership Clinic serving residents all over Metro-Atlanta with their education and health care needs. He also was a member of the Georgia State Moot Court society where he competed in the Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition. In his last semester of law school, Matthew earned the CALI award for Insurance Law.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys working out at the gym, playing golf, and watching college football.
