Jimmy Singer Elected Again as GSGA General Counsel.

At the annual meeting of its Board of Directors on January 19, 2019, Jimmy Singer was elected again to serve as General Counsel of the Georgia State Golf Association. This will be the fifth year Jimmy has been asked to serve in that capacity. The GSGA, founded in 1916, is a non-profit organization and one of the largest state golf associations in the nation, serving approximately 73,000 members. In addition to promoting the game of golf in Georgia and serving its members, the GSGA conducts 23 statewide competitions, 4 interstate matches, is responsible for course ratings, manages the computerized handicap system, Georgia Junior Golf, the Youth on Course Initiative, the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, promotes and conducts an Adaptive Golf Program, and assists with the GSGA Foundation in providing scholarships.
